MAINE SQUEEZE CLEANSE FAQ’S
Can I pick up all 3 days of juices at once?
Our juices are freshly made and must be consumed the day they are made. Thus they must be picked up daily.
What if I don’t like the juices, can I change or customize them?
Our juices are specifically chosen to aid the body in detoxification and have already been pre-planned. At the moment we are unable to change the juices or create customized juice cleanses. Please stay tuned as we do hope to offer this in the future. If you would like to know the chosen juices and ingredients please email the cleanse coach Stacey at firstname.lastname@example.org
What are the salad choices?
Within 48 hours of the cleanse, you will receive a welcome email that will ask you which salad you will prefer during your cleanse. Your choices are: Miso Hungry (brown rice, carrots, cucumber, avocado, spinach w/ ginger miso dressing), Hummus Yummus (hummus, carrots, onions, cucumber, pickles, avocado, spinach w/ Balsamic Dressing) or Detox Delight (spinach, kale, carrot, celery, beet, avocado and hummus w/choice of dressing).
Can I join the cleanse anytime?
The Maine Squeeze Cleanse is currently a group cleanse that is offered on set dates roughly every two -three weeks. You must join one of the set dates.
When should I cleanse?
When and how often you cleanse is different for everyone. Common times to cleanse include:
- – After months of overeating or consuming processed and unhealthy foods
- – When feeling lethargic, bloated irritable or heavy
- – To pinpoint food intolerances
- – Simply to reboot your system
How will I feel?
Remember the old adage, “You are what you eat”? If you fill your body with vibrant, live foods then you in return will be full of vibrant life. The food we put in our body determines our health and vitality. The Maine Squeeze Cleanse may help you:
- – Feel lighter
- – More energized
- – Have a clearer mind
- – Sleep better
- – Improve your mood
- – Gain clearer eyes and skin
- – Crave less sugar and processed foods
- – Reset the body’s system
- – Pave the way for healthier eating habits
- – Feel refreshed and renewed
Having said that, some experience side effects from the body’s detoxing process that may range from headaches, irritability, fatigue and bowel disturbances to arrhythmia or vomiting. One’s normal dietary habits, use of alcohol or cigarettes, caffeine consumption, or general body constitution may affect how the cleanser experiences the cleanse. Thus, this cleanse may not be suitable for everyone and it is suggested that one speak with his/her physician to determine whether it is appropriate to partake in.
Will I be hungry and what should I do about it?
During the cleanse you will be supplied with adequate calories and nutrients to fuel your body and will end the day with a light, healthy solid meal. Therefore you may experience less hunger than you anticipate. If you start to feel hungry, drink water, pure coconut water and herbal teas to help calm the feeling. If drinking a juice every 2-3 hours seems too infrequent for you, you may choose to drink them sooner. If you’re still hungry and can’t shake the feeling, we have a list of suggested snack foods included in your informational cleanse packet.
How do the juices taste?
Our freshly made organic juices are combined to not only provide the utmost nourishment for your body, but to taste really good. You will be surprised at how yummy the juices taste and how light and refreshed your body will feel. Some people who are new to juicing have a hard time with the green juices. You may add a bit of fresh squeezed lemon or lime juice to the green juice if you find you are one of these people.
Can I drink coffee during the cleanse?
It is best to NOT drink caffeinated beverages (includes black and green tea) during the cleanse. If possible you may want to start weaning yourself off of coffee the days leading up to the cleanse so that your body will not go through caffeine withdrawal.
Can I continue taking my vitamin supplements during the cleanse?
You will be receiving a plethora of vitamins and minerals during the cleanse, so it is not necessary to take the supplements.
I am taking prescription medicine, can I cleanse?
If you are taking prescription medicine it is advisable to check with you doctor to see if a cleanse is appropriate for you. If the doctor ok’s the cleanse and you will be taking medicine, your body will still gain the benefits of cleansing such as helping you get back on track to a healthy lifestyle and fueling your body with energy.
Can I exercise during the cleanse?
During the time of a juice cleanse it is suggested to allow your body to rest and recharge. You may partake in light exercises such as tai chi, yoga, walking, golf, gentle swimming or bicycling. Maine Squeeze has formed a partnership with Jade Integrated Health to offer gentle yoga classes for cleansers. A free class pass will be included in your purchase of a cleanse. For more information on their classes and current schedule click HERE.
What additional ways can I support detoxing my body?
When you sign up for our 3 Day Juice & Meals Cleanse, you will receive a cleanse & wellness e-booklet that will discuss additional ways to help your body detox. We also would like to recommend treating yourself to a massage or acupuncture session such as what is offered at Jade Integrated Health located in Portland. Or try a steam treatment, sauna, or even a facial from your favorite spa.
What is your cancellation policy?
